A Joint Hubble Space Telescope and Swift Campaign

The ground observatory  will monitor the active galactic nucleus in Mrk279 together with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and the Swift space observatory, thereby allowing an extremely broad wavelength coverage, extending from the X-rays through the UV bands, to the optical band. The campaign is planned to begin in the coming weeks, and last until January 2023. The campaign is a joint multi-group effort including researchers from Princeton University, Goettingen University, Bochum University, MIT, St. Andrews, and Tel-Aviv University, and is led by researchers from the University of Haifa.
